I just got back from Stop & Shop and did pretty well.  I'm not an extreme couponer by any means, my goal is simply to save money on the things my family already uses and to try new things when we can get them for a good price.  I've budgeted $60/week for groceries.  I spent $35 at S&S today leaving me $25 to get the sale items on my list at Shaw's.  Think I can do it?
So here are my S&S purchases:

Arnold bread X2:  BOGO free Final cost: $4.49/2
Smart Ones meals X12: on sale for 6/$10 minus a $5/12 coupon printed from the smart ones website. Unfortunately, it looks like the deal and my coupon couldn't be combined so they rang up at 5/$10. You might be better off with one of these other smart ones coupons like the $4/10 one found here.  Final Cost: $19/12 ($1.58/each).
Pepperidge Farm Goldfish X2: on sale for $1.47/each.  Combine with the pepperidge farm coupon posted below which doubled to $1.50. Final cost: $1.44/2.
Gerber Graduates Toddler Meals X2: on sale 10/$10 minus 2 $1/1 Gerber Graduates coupon I received after writing to Gerber to request coupons. FREE.  (Note, if you "like" Gerber on facebook they have different coupons available to print daily.)
Newman's Own Tomato Sauce X2: On sale 2/$4 minus 2 save $50/1 coupons which doubled. Final cost: $1/each
Baby Carrots 1 bag: On sale $1.67/bag
Red Baby Potatoes 1 package: Regular price $3.99
Red Seedless Grapes X 2lbs: On sale $1.99/lb
Fresh Sweet Corn ears X3: On sale 5/$2 ($0.40/each)
Poland Springs 3L bottles X2: On sale 10/$10

Total before savings: $68.50
Total after savings: $35.07

I won't have to buy smart ones for work for several weeks!
And of course I stopped and filled up my gas tank on the way home using my S&S gas rewards at Shell and saved $0.40/gallon!
